Hassidur Shelanu: our siddur, for everyone

In 2021, seeing that copies of the siddurim used by the Jewish Community of Florence were wearing out, and, fewer and fewer copies remained, it was decided to proceed with a republication.

Considering the wear and tear of the siddurim, an indication of the great vitality of our community as members and guests make extensive use of them, it was decided to provide for the reprinting of 500 volumes.

Thanks to numerous offerings, some in honor of a happy event, others in memory of a loved one, the planned reprinting goal was reached. Later, thanks to an additional major private donation, an Italian translation was also made possible.

By the end of 2022, the total goal of 13,500 Euros was reached, and the siddurim were reprinted with the 800-page tefillot along with their translations. The siddurim are currently in use at the synagogue; several copies are also available for sale at the Jewish Community.
